History

FTC Team 6209 Venom was created in 2012 at Vandegrift High School, as the 3rd First Tech Challenge team in the ViperBots organization. In the last 9 years, we’ve advanced to the FIRST World Championships 3 times, and won multiple Control, Innovate, and Inspire Awards at every level of competition. In addition, Venom was the winner of the first UIL State Championships robotics competition in 2016 and was on the finalist Alliance at the 2017 UIL competition.
